WYD 2011 SVDP WYD 2011 Average Rating: St Vincent de Paul Walk Nearly 20 members of the Tri-Parish Knobs Conference of St. Vincent de Paul joined with several hundred others in the Metro Louisville area for the 4th Annual Friends of the Poor Walk held at Churchill Downs. The majority of the participants were from the St. Mary of the Knobs Youth Movement. Participants raised funds from sponsors which will ultimately be returned to our St. Vincent de Paul Conference to serve the needs in our community. It was great fellowship and fun by all. A great day to walk 3 miles around the infield of Churchill Downs. Many thanks to those who walked and supported this valued fund raiser. Over $500 was raised for our St. Vincent de Paul Society.
